Green of Basildon to a public limited company, the opportunity arose to further expand by purchasing a well-known property; 'Old Blue House Farm' in London Road, Pitsea.After obtaining a change of use from residential to commercial from the local council, a great deal of thought was given to the design of extending and refurbishing this exceptional old building. | | Carefully Constructed to Give a Calming AmbianceWith the experience of the West family and their respected builder, Pendale Construction, a plan of conversion was submitted to the council which they approved.

| The impressive building with its sweeping carriageway and delightful gardens still retains its true character. There are two reception lounges giving the feeling of complete comfort. Four Chapels of Rest, with specialised decor in each, are designed to give peace and tranqulity to families, knowing their loved ones are cared for in exceptional surroundings. A spacious hallway leading into the various rooms is another asset. Again this area has been tastefully decorated with an impressive tropical fish tank positioned at one end, creating a most calming aura. | | In addition, a hygienic mortuary is positioned at the rear of the building, fully complying with all relevant Health & Safety requirements. A large garage is also situated within the grounds, housing the company's latest Rolls Royce and Bentley vehicles.

| As well as our highly professional staff, we are also proud of our impressive fleet of Rolls Royce and Bentley vehicles. Each limousine offering prestigious and comfortable seating.
Today we regularly carry out horse-drawn funerals and again we are pleased to provide such an elegant and traditional service. We have a 19th century vehicle drawn by black Friesian horses, professionally driven by experienced coachmen. | | |
